FUC PAYPAL!!!!!!

I just got took for $235 buy some sum-a-bitch named Moses Kim! We had agreed on a price set it up and I even talked to the guy on the phone and after seeing he was a premier verified member with a 30+ rating I had little doubt that he was legit. So I dispute the fraud with paypal and this is the reply (3 weeks after the original dispute) that I recieved

Seems like a lot of people are getting ripped of recently. People must be in the "thieving" mood or something.

btw, Paypal does suck a fat one. I realized long ago that there isn't any security involved with paypal. It is just a convenience nothing more.

If I were to buy from someone I didn't know I would get:

-A home and work address
-As many phone numbers as possible
-Employer information/manager contact
-Then verify all that junk

If he is gonna flake, he isn't going to go through the trouble if doing all that. If any of the info he gives you comes out BS, then of course that is a sign he is gonna flake.

People selling stuff should give out all that info from the get go anyway. I always give people my home address and phone number and tell them I will give them any other information they want to know. If someone isn't willing to go through the small trouble of getting a buyer some info, then they shouldn't be selling stuff over the internet in the first place.

Yeah, I had that once. Some girl ripped me off for $90. I reported it to Paypal and they sided with me and recovered a whopping 26 cents! Fortunately, I bought it with my CC backing up the sale so I got the rest of my money back from Visa.

I agree with Marc. I always change the payment preference from the default banking account to my credit card. If anything goes wrong and paypal not doing anything about it, I still have my credit card company to back me up.

I know how you feel. I got burned back in April for $700.00. I used Paypal to pay half for an engine to a guy in Kentucky... he was very tardy with shipping it out... his excuse was he had a Grandfather in the hospital, basically on his death-bed, and needed time. I was patient... too patient. He kept good contact for about 30 days, and then dropped off the face of the earth. I filed a complaint with Paypal 32 days after the initial transaction, and I got a reply basically saying "Too bad, you reported this after the 30-day limit... there is nothing we can do, however, we will post it in his file".

So, I am $700 lighter... FUCK Paypal. I will NEVER give them another dime of my money.

I'm sorry that you lost your cash... if it was me I swear that I would be at PayPal's headquarters, stealing their furniture from the lobby to cover my losses. Sorry man.

With all the BS "stunna" types and losers who are stealing stuff, I think one of the best things to do is to establish a system between us where we can vouch for one another (obviously this applies to private seller stuff; Jim, you are in business so this is a little tougher for you).

I'm on the verge of selling my car because I am sick of the theft on cars, the internet, and the increasing amount of uneducated, slimy looking scumbags that like Hondas because they saw Fast and Furious. It's gross. It used to be really fun, but now I literally worry myself sick about my car being stolen.
